Mott draws Mesa for NJCAA National opener

FLINT - The Mott Community College volleyball team won the Great Lakes District A Region Tournament last week, punching their ticket to the NJCAA Division II National Championship.

The bracket for the national tournament was revealed on Wednesday, with the Bears seeded No. 18 in the 20-team field. Mott will play No. 15 Mesa Community College at 11 am CT on Wednesday, November 20 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Bears enter the national tournament with a record of 27-6 overall. Mesa has a record of 19-11 overall after winning its Region Tournament last week.
