T-Birds Fall to Glendale in Four Sets: Mesa Officially Claims #4 Seed for Region I Tournament

Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds dropped its regular season finale to the Glendale Gauchos is four sets Friday night.

However, the T-Birds finished as the #4 seed and will play in the Region I/ACCAC DII Tournament next week at #1 seed Scottsdale.  All matches will be played at the #1 seed site, with match play beginning with the #2 Glendale Gauchos and the #3 Pima Aztecs.  #4 Mesa will play at 7 pm on Thursday, November 7th vs #1 Scottsdale.  It's a double-elimination tournament.
