Sophomores Were Celebrated Wednesday Night but Matadors Get Last Celebration in Sweep on Mesa

Mesa, AZ - The #11 Mesa Thunderbirds celebrated its four sophomores Wednesday night before its match against the Arizona Western Matadors.  It was the only celebration the T-Bird faithful would do for the night as the Matadors defeated the T-Birds with ease in three sets, 13-25, 19-25, 14-25.

Mesa will finish the regular season this coming Friday at Glendale and then will prepare for the Regional Championship tournament next Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Location of the site is yet to be determined but will be finalized by week's end.
