Leah Crist Earns NJCAA DII 2nd Team All-American
Mesa Thunderbirds Leah Crist has earned NJCAA DII 2nd Team All-American honors for the 2017 season.
Helping the T-Birds reach the national tournament for the first time in 37 years, Crist was a force in the middle for Mesa all year long.
Crist lead Mesa this season in hitting percentage (.314) and blocks per set (.94) while having the second highest kills on the season with 246, averaging 1.97 kills per set.
During the season, Crist earned the first conference Player of the Week honors and earned ACCAC DII First Team and Region I First Team post season honors.
