Volleyball Enters NJCAA National Tournament as 7th Seed

The #12 Mesa Thunderbirds will enter the 2017 NJCAA National Tournament as the #7 seed and play the #10 seed Iowa Central Tritons in the first round of competition.  

Matches begin on Thursday, November 16th and will be played at the Charleston Center in Charleston, West Virginia.  Mesa and Iowa Central will be the fourth match of the day at a time yet to be determined.

The T-Birds finished with a 22-9 regular season record and will play in their first national tournament in 37 years.  Mesa's volleyball program only has one National Championship in history, winning it in 1977, known then as the AIAW Championship.
