Mesa, AZ - The #12 Mesa Thunderbirds finished their regular season home schedule with a victory over GCU Club team on Wednesday night in four sets, 25-15, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20.
It was a nice way to send off the 11 Mesa sophomores as they head toward the end of the regular season and prepare for post season play.
Raquel Valliere finished with a team high 11 kills, one solo block and one block assist. Trae Landvatter finished with eight kills and three block assists and Camy Cohn finished with 18 digs.
Mesa moves to 18-8 overall on the season with a 9-5 conference record. They have one final match of the regular season down in Tucson against Pima on Friday at 7 pm. The results of that match and the result of the Scottsdale vs South Mountain match will determine the final seedings for the regional tournament.
