The Mesa Thunderbirds extend the early season winning streak to seven games with a win over Benedictine JV Tuesday night, 3-1.
Undoubtly, this is the best start for a Mesa volleyball team in years but Coach Megan Taylor knows all too well that its a long season.
"We are learning to play together and as a team," said Coach Taylor, "we need to continue to get better if we want to be successful later on in the season."
Mesa will play in the Scottsdale Classic on Friday and Saturday. More details on game times will come soon.
