Coolidge, AZ - The #17 ranked Mesa Thunderbirds swept the Central Arizona Vaquera's in straight sets, 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.
Being ranked for the first time in more than two decades, Mesa went into tonight's match fired up and ready to play as the T-Birds played united and tough.
Mesa is now 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the ACCAC. The T-Birds will go against their greatest challenge of the season on Friday when they travel to #1 Glendale for a 7 p.m. start.
