Mesa, AZ- Mesa hosted Snow College and Central Arizona College on Friday night at Theo Heap Gym but Mesa fell 3-0 to Snow College, 26-24, 25-18, 25-12 and to Central Arizona 3-0, 25-17, 25-17, 25-22.
Mesa played hard in the first two sets against Snow, almost taking set one, even though being down 24-20. Chelsey Stover(So., St. David, AZ, St. David H.S.) rattled off four straight points for the T-Birds while serving but Snow finished off the set by scoring the last two points.
Although Central Arizona played with seven players, Mesa played with little emotion and couldn't string together points, losing in three sets.
Mesa will play at Scottsdale next Wednesday then back home against Pima Community College.
