Volleyball swept by South Mountain

Mesa, AZ- Mesa dropped its second meeting with South Mountain this season Wednesday night at Theo Heap Gym in three straight sets.

The Cougars won 25-16, 25-9, 25-22.

Paige Sampson(So., Brea, CA, Brea H.S.) finished with a team high five kills and Mariah Buchanan(Fr., Victorville, CA, Poston Butte H.S.) finished with 10 assists.

Mesa will be on the road Friday at Phoenix College and then back home next Wednesday, October 15th against Yavapi. That game will be broadcasted on T-Bird Sports Live at 7 p.m.
