DI Central Arizona hands volleyball 3-0 loss

  COOLIDGE, AZ - Another Division I opponent, Central Arizona, handed the Mesa volleyball team a loss Friday with a 3-0 victory.

  The Vaqueros won,25-16, 25-13, 25-21, to improve to 9-5 on the season and 5-1 in the ACCAC where they sit in second place.

  Alexis Falatyn, pictured right, (Fr., Kingston, N.Y/Seton Catholic (AZ) H.S.) and Chelsey Stover (Fr., St., David, AZ/St. David H.S.) each had five kills for the T-Birds. Stover also recorded 16 digs.

  MCC returns home Wednesday to meet Scottsdale in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
