Women's TF Competes at PVCC Indoor

Phoenix, AZ - The Thunderbirds women's track & field team competed at the PVCC Indoor Invitational on Saturday.

Anna Harmon ran a personal-best time in the mile (5:16.96) and finished in first place. Harmon doubled back to finish second in the 800m (2:21.14 PB) and hit a national qualifying mark for the event.

Kate Brockman won the 1000m and improved her national qualifying time for the event with a 3:03.35 personal best.

The 4x400m relay improved their season-best time with a 3:58.79 performance and also finished in first place. Other event winners included Natalia Brzezniak in the high jump (1.55m PB) and Zaria Hamilton in the 400m dash (58.20).

Second-place finishers included Taylor Jacobs in the 600m (1:39.29), MaKena Thornton in the 1000m (3:16.83 PB), and Lucy Lines in the 3000m (11:24.21 PB). Third-place finishers included Reanna Cambell in the 600m (1:40.44 PB) and Victoria Malaki in the shot put (11.13m PB).

Up next for Mesa, the lady T-Birds will have athletes competing at the NAU Ron Mann Classic on Friday, the CAC Indoor Multi on Friday and Saturday, and the CAC Indoor Invite on Saturday.
