Women's tennis falls to Pacific Lutheran, 5-4, in spring opener

Mesa, AZ – The Mesa women's tennis team opened its spring season Tuesday, dropping a close match.

 "We lost 5-4 tonight to Pacific Lutheran University," said head coach Feroz Rast.  "It was a great match




and came down to the final match of the night.  Alethea Lacroix almost pulled out the thriller in three sets."

  The T-Birds go back into action Saturday, hosting NCAA Division I Western New Mexico at 10:00 a.m. on the MCC courts.
