Women's tennis records 12th-straight win; 8-1 over Eastern Arizona
Mesa, AZ – An 8-1 victory over Eastern Arizona Tuesday gave the MCC women's tennis team its 12th straight win at improved Mesa to 12-3 and 7-0 in ACCAC play.
For the T-Birds, Hanna Nelson took a 6-0, 6-0 win over Rebekah Larson at No. 5 singles. Other solid victories went to 13th-ranked Khanh Huynh who scored a 6-0, 6-1 win over Amalie Saint-Dizier at No. 1; 43rd-ranked Yolanda Carlon, a 6-0, 6-1 victor over Celine Mann at No. 3; Julia Ortiz who captured the No. 4 match against Peyton Cap, 6-1, 6-0, and Michelle Fournier, a 6-0, 6-1 winner over Rachel White at No. 6.
MCC will play at home Saturday againsr NCAA Division II Dixie State at 8:30 a.m.
