Eastern Arizona tops women's tennis, 6-3

  MESA, AZ - Eastern Arizona turned the tables on the Mesa women's tennis team, avenging an earlier loss to the T-Birds with a 6-3 win Tuesday.

  MCC's Desiree Curiel (So., Globe-Miami, AZ/Miami H.S.) won her match at No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0 over Madison Fleming. Sydney Madsen (So., Orem, Utah/Perry (AZ) H.S.) also won at No. 6 with a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Brianna Beus.

  Mesa's No. 2 doubles team of Curiel and Michelle Fournier (Fr., Chicago, Ill/Saguaro (AZ) H.S.) was victorious over Cassidy McWhorter and Fleming, 8-3.

  The T-Birds will wrap up the regular season next Tuesday hosting Glendale at 1:30 p.m.
