Women's tennis opens conference season with shutout of Paradise Valley

  MESA, AZ - The first match of the ACCAC season turned out exactly as the Mesa women's tennis team had hoped, a 9-0 blanking of Paradise Valley.

  MCC got shutout performances at three singles matches and won all of the doubles, 8-0.

  Racheal Eshillonu at No. 1, Sheridan Skarda (Fr., Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain) at No. 4 and Sydney Madsen (Orem, Utha/Perry (AZ) H.S.) all won their matches, 6-0, 6-0.

  The T-Birds will host Pima Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
