MCC Soccer sweeps season series over Paradise Valley on Tuesday

MCC Soccer earned a clean sweep over Paradise Valley on Tuesday as both the men's and women's teams emerged victorious.

Women's Soccer:

The Lady T-Birds kept the momentum from their big win against GateWay rolling against the Pumas as they cruised to a 4-0 win.

Olivia Bodily, Olivia Rodina, Hailey Hough, and Rylee Lawson all scored a goal for Mesa.

With the win the Lady T-Birds record improved to 4-9 overall (3-7 ACCAC).

Men' Soccer:

No. 17 MCC Men's Soccer fell behind 3-1 after 57 minutes of play but would answer back in a big way as they scored three unanswered goals to take the victory.

Farriel Corrales, Abdiel Beltran (2), and Lorenzo Garcia all scored for the Thunderbirds in 4-3 the victory.

With the win MCC improves their overall record to 5-2-4 (3-1-4 ACCAC).

The men and women will be back in action on Saturday as they host Chandler-Gilbert CC.
