Annabella Bara Records Hat Trick in 5-1 Win Over South Mountain

Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds women's soccer team recorded its first conference victory of the season with a 5-1 win over the South Mountain Cougars Thursday Night.

Annabella Bara led the charge with three goals, her 5th, 6th and 7th goals on the season.  She scored her first two goals in the first half with the last goal being scored as the only goal in the second half by either squad.

Also scoring for Mesa was Berkeley Larsen , her 6th on the season and scoring her first goal of the season was Kaitlyn Dodson.

With the new conference rules going into effect this season, this was Mesa's first conference win of the season.  Overall, Mesa is 5-2-1.  The T-Birds will be back in action this coming Saturday when they play the Gateway Geckos at Eagles Park in downtown Mesa.  Kickoff will be at 4:30 pm.
