Mesa, AZ - Goals, goals and more goals is the motto right now for the Mesa Thunderbirds women's soccer team as they defeated the South Mountain Cougars Tuesday night, 8-0. After posting a seven goal match on Saturday, the T-Birds have scored 15 goals in their last two matches.
Mesa came out firing early and often as they scored five goals in the first half alone. With the win, the T-Birds have won their last two games while also tying Arizona Western down in Yuma, 1-1.
The T-Birds will be at home again this Friday afternoon against the Cochise Apaches with a 4:30 pm start time.
