Mesa, AZ- The Mesa women's soccer team lost Tuesday night 2-1 to the Scottsdale Artichokes at John D. Riggs Stadium.
The T-Birds has oppurtunities to take advantage of good offensive attacks but couldn't convert.
Mesa's lone goal came off the head of Elisha Dietrich with the assist coming from Maia Gajate at the 76th minute of the second half.
Scottsdale scored the deciding goal within the last few minutes of the contest. Mesa now is 1-1 on the season.
The T-Birds will be back at home on Saturday to play the Phoenix College Bears at 7 p.m.
