Three From Women's Soccer on all-ACCAC/Region I Team

  MESA, AZ - The Mesa women's soccer team has placed three players on the 2013 all-ACCAC/Region I teams, and all are freshmen.

  Morgan Eddy (Fr., Farmington, N.M/ Farmington H.S.) and Jordan Drake (Fr., Grand Junction, Colo/Grand Junction H.S.) were both named first team and Hallee Ahler (Fr., Tempe, AZ/Coron del Sol H.S.) was selected honorable mention.

  Eddy, a midfielder, started all 20 games and had two goals and an assist. She had the game-winner in a big, 2-1, victory over Cochise.

  Drake was MCC's top scorer with 11 goals and an assist. She had two game-winning goals, against Glendale and GateWay.

  Ahler was a mainstay on defense helping the T-Birds limit opponents to just 1.8 goals per game. Her selection is for the ACCAC only.

  Mesa finished the season 8-12 overall and 8-10 in conference play, barely missing a playoff spot
