Pickron leads charge as women's golf wins 24th straight ACCAC tournament
Cave Creek, AZ – Presley Pickron fired a 77-76—153, good for second place, to help lead the women's golf team to a 36-shot win at the Paradise Valley Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the Cave Creek Municipal G.C.
It was MCC's 24th consecutive ACCAC victory.
The T-Birds shot a 320-311-631 to out-distance the field. South Mountain was second at 333-334—667.
Mesa had three of the top five finishers as Abby Schmidt placed fourth, carding a 78-79—157 and Mackenzie Vongphosy tied for fifth with an 82-78—160. Jolie Guyette finished seveth at 88-78—166.
MCC concludes the regular season at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational March 25-26.
