Women's golf wins ACCAC Spring Fling by 119
Apache Junction, AZ – Taking the top three individual spots, the Mesa women's golf team won the ACCAC Spring Fling tournament played at the Apache Creek G.C., Thursday and Friday.
The T-Birds recorded a 329-326—655 to win by 119 shots over second place Paradise Valley which recorded a 378-396—774. South Mountain was third at 403-426—829.
Alyzzah Vasakioula won her third tournament of the year with a steady 75-75—150 to pace MCC. Presley Pickron was second carding an 82-76—158, the 76 being her best round of the year. Abby Schmidt finished third with a 79-81--160, with the 79 being her best round of the season.
Mesa next plays Monday and Tuesday, March 29-30 at the Pima Invitational at the Randolph G.C. in Tucson.
