Voisard tied for fifth after first day of NJCAA women's golf nationals
Daytona Beach, Fla. – The rain-delayed NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship got under way Tuesday and it was a fine start for Mesa freshman Madison Voisard.
The Birmingham, Ala,., native and Arcadia (AZ) H.S. graduate, fired a 77 over the tough LPGA International Hillside Course to tie for fifth place in the event which has been shortened to 54 holes.
Meanwhile, teammate Taylor Gransen is tied for 47th place in the 127-player field after an 88.
The tournament continues Wednesday.
