Mesa Women's Golf Moves Up to the 9th Place Position on Day 2 of the NJCAA National Tournament

Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds women's golf team moved up one position in the team standings to the 9th spot as they collectively shot a 348 day two total.

Haley Kapanikas also improved her individual standing as she is now in the 17th position, improving her stroke play by one today with a 79.

Megan Fusak recorded an 86 today, two shots better than her 88 yesterday.  Cheyanne Stewart shot a 90, 13 strokes better than yesterday while Taylor Gransen shot a 93 with Hannah Brown shooting a 97.

Day three and four will begin head to head competition as each player will compete with a player who has a similar score to theirs.
