Jill Harvison Helps Women's Golf to 66th Consecutive Region I Victory

SUN CITY, AZ – Returning to conference competition, the Mesa women captured their 66th consecutive Region I event with a 25-shot win at the Scottsdale Invitational at the Hillcrest G.C. Monday and Tuesday.  

MCC recorded a 326-320—646 to defeat Pima. Third place went to South Mountain with a 674 total.  

Jill Harvison took medal honors with an 82-76—158. Samantha Hernandez was one shot back in second place at 77-82—159 and Brianna Medrano placed fourth, carding an83-80—163.  

The T-Birds will play in the Estrella Mountain Invitational Sunday and Monday at the Aguila G.C., in Laveen, AZ.
