Zyan Smith Earns ACCAC DII Player of the Week Honors
Mesa freshman Zyan Smith earned ACCAC DII Player of the Week honors for her performances against Tohono O'odham and Central Arizona College last week.
Smith, a 5-9 freshman from Mesquite High School, had a 19.5 scoring average in two games with a high of 26 against Tohono O'odham. She had 18 total rebounds, nine assists and nine steals for the week and shot .550 (11-20) from the field.
