Mesa's Diamond Fuller Earns 2018-2019 NJCAA DII 2nd Team All-American

Mesa Thunderbirds sophomore, Diamond Fuller, has earned NJCAA 2nd Team All-American honors for her performance during the 2018-2019 women's basketball season.

Fuller was nearly impossible to guard with her length and quickness but she also had the ability to shot from the outside if needed.  In 31 games this season for the Thunderbirds, Fuller averaged 17.2 points per game, shooting 50.3 percent (182-362) from the field while shooting 75.6 percent (158-209) from the free-throw line, which is also a single season school record.  She made a total of 532 points on the season.

Under the hoop, Fuller averaged 9.5 rebounds per game and compilled 14 double-doubles on the season.  Three times during 2018-2019 season, Fuller was named ACCAC DII Player of the Week, earning the award four times total in her career at Mesa.
