Cheyenne Begay, Diamond Fuller Earn All-Region I/ACCAC Honors
Now that the 2018-2019 regular season is finished and the playoffs right around the corner, the All-Region I/ACCAC Teams have been announced.
Sophomores Diamond Fuller and Cheyenne Begay have found themselves on each of the respective post-season teams.
Diamond Fuller earned spots on both the Region I and ACCAC First Teams. Fuller was nearly impossible to stop underneath as she averaged 17.6 points per game, shooting 50.1 percent (174-347) from the field while also making 75.6 percent (152-201) of her free-throws. She also averaged 9.4 rebounds per game.
Cheyenne Begay earned a spot on the Region I Second Team and also earned a spot on the ACCAC Third Team. On the season, Begay averaged 11.1 points per game, shooting 40.3 percent (108-268) from the field, connecting on 28.3 percent (30-106) from the three-pointer and making 65-86 (75.6%) from the free-throw line. She also averaged 3.1 assists per game while averaging 1.6 steals per game.
