Thatcher, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds women's basketball scored a big win against Eastern Arizona College Saturday night in Thatcher, 58-47.
Cheyenne Begay finished with 16 points while Diamond Fuller finished with 15 points. Mesa did a nice job of limiting Eastern AZ to just of four points in the fourth quarter to take the victory.
Mesa will play two roads games next week, first at Scottsdale on Wednesday night at 5:30 pm, then they will play at Chandler-Gilbert next Saturday afternoon at 2 pm.
