Fuller's 21 Points, 17 Boards Not Enough as T-Birds Fall to Pima, 78-70

Mesa, AZ - In a hard fought contest Wednesday night at Theo Heap Gym, it was the Pima Aztecs that came out on top with the 78-70 victory over the Mesa Thunderbirds.

The stars came out to shine as Mesa's Diamond Fuller finished with 21 points and 17 rebounds while Cheyenne Begay finished with 15 points and Jacey Salabiye finished with 14 points.  Unforturnatly for Mesa, another tough shooting performance from the outside hinder the upset of the #17 ranked Pima Aztecs.

Mesa falls to 10-17 overall on the season.  Their next three games will be on the road, beginning this Saturday when they travel to Thatcher, AZ for a matchup with Eastern Arizona College.  Next Wednesday they'll play at Scottsdale then head to Chandler-Gilbert next Saturday afternoon.
