Women's Basketball Gets #5 Seed in NJCAA DII Tournament
The Mesa Thunderbirds women's basketball team will enter the 2017-2018 NJCAA DII National Tournament as the #5 seed. The T-Birds will begin play on the second day of competition against the #12 Cecil Seahawks, out of North East, Maryland.
The Seahawks play in the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference and they finished the season 23-5 overall record.
