Hot Shooting Pace #6 Mesa at Scottsdale in 95-68 Win

Scottsdale, AZ - The opening tip happened and before the fans could blink, Leah Goodman was scoring a layup.  From there, the #6 Mesa Thunderbirds never looked back as the T-Birds scored a 95-68 victory over the Scottsdale Artichokes Saturday night.

Five T-Birds scored in double-figures with Takara Wade leading the way with 18 points.  Leah Goodman finished with 16 points, Lynnae Mitchell and Anessa Glenn each finished with 15 points with Deja Dagons scoring 11 points.  This was the highest scoring game for Mesa this season, surpassing the 92 points they scored against Bismark State College back in December.

Mesa moves to a record of 22-5 overall and 17-2 in the ACCAC.  They will host the Cochise Apaches Wednesday at home at 5:30 pm then will travel to Tucson on Saturday for a matchup with the Pima Aztecs at 2 pm.
