#14 Mesa Sprints Pass South Mountain in 76-43 Victory

Mesa, AZ - It's always nice to get a victory.  It's even more nice to get a victory and every one of your players scores points.  

That's what the #14 Mesa Thunderbirds accomplished in Wednesday nights victory over the South Mountain Cougars, a 76-43 win.

Leading the way likes always in the points category was Leah Goodman and Deja Dagons, each combining for 12 points.  Goodman connected on four three-pointers on the night while Dagons knocked down two three-pointers.

On the evening, Mesa shot a solid 45.2 (28-62) percent while outscoring the Cougars in the paint, 40-18.  Mesa had a solid game from its bench as the T-Bird reserves scored 33 points to zero points for South Mountain.

Mesa improves it record to 15-5 and 10-2 in ACCAC play.  The T-Birds will be back at home this coming Saturday when they host the Glendale Gauchos at 2 pm.
