Lady TBirds Ink Another Valley Standout

Courtney Colleary, a guard from Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ is the latest signee for the Mesa Lady Thunderbirds. Joining five returning players with national tournament experience and a talented group of incoming freshmen, Colleary brings a skilled management style and grittiness to the TBird backcourt.
She was a solid contributor during her tenure on the Husky hardwood, which saw her team win a 2016 AZ State High School Basketball Championship. This season Courtney and the Hamilton Huskies advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2017 AZ State Girls Basketball tournament before falling to the Mountain Pointe Pride.
They finished as the #2 team in the state with a 25-4 record. She also contributed 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals per game in four yearsplaying under coaches Trevor Neider and Jeff Kain.
Mesa coach Kori Stephenson is excited because of Courtney's work ethic and defensive capabilities which are expectations for anyone coming into the program and we are looking forward to a successful 2017-18 season.
