Wire to wire victory for women's basketball at Chandler-Gilbert, 67-50

Chandler, AZ- Mesa scored the first eight points of the game and that's all the lead they needed as they beat the Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes, 67-50.

Mesa held the lead the whole game, with their largest lead coming in the fourth quarter when they were up seventeen but for the most part, Mesa maintained a 10 point advantage throughout the four quarters. 

Mesa was lead again by sophomore point guard Briana Clah, who connected on five three pointers and scored a career high 26 points on 8-16 shooting.  She also had two rebounds and three assists.

For the T-Birds, they move to 8-9 on the season, 5-4 in the ACCAC.  They will be home for two straight home games next week when Eastern Arizona travels to Theo Heap Gym for a Wednesday matchup then Tohono O'odham will come to town for a Saturday matchup.
