Mesa, AZ-It was the regular season finale for the women's basketball team, as well as sophomore night for the T-Birds, and Mesa didn't dissappoint the home crowd as they dominated from beginning to end with a 60-41 victory over Tohono O'odham.
Lacey Viselli(So., Surprise, AZ, Valley Vista H.S.) started the scoring with a three and incredibly Mesa went on to score the next 31 points.

Tohono O'odham didn't get its first bucket till the 3:40 mark of the half, missing its first 25 shots.
Kylie Herd(So., Phoenix, AZ, Arcadia H.S.) had a pair of assists and steals to go along with four points while Cherokee Davis(Fr., Ft. McDowell, AZ, Mountain View H.S.) had three rebounds, two steals and a pair three's.
Much of the same story in the second half as Erica Vasquez(So., Mesa, AZ, Red Mountain H.S.) started the scoring with a layup and Taylor Reed(Fr., Kingman, AZ, Kingman H.S.) scored six of the first ten points for Mesa. Briana Clah(Fr., Chinle, AZ, Many Farms H.S.) also knocked down four three pointers, three of which came in the second half.
The T-Birds had eight steals on the night and outrebounded the Jegos 53-35.
