National champion women's basketball releases 2014-15 schedule

2014-15 Mesa women's basketball schedule

  MESA, AZ - The national champion Mesa women's basketball team has announced its schedule for 2014-15.

  The T-Birds will play their usual 22-game ACCAC schedule and will also take on five non-region opponents.

  The season will open with one of the non-region games with Salt lake visiting Theo Heap Gym on Friday, Nov. 7. MCC will open conference play on saturday Nov. 15 at Scottsdale.

  All five of the non-region opponents are NJCAA Division I. Three, Howard (Texas), Williston (N.D.) State and South Plains (Texas) will face Mesa in Scottsdale from Dec. 29-31. 

  The T-Birds will then host Midland (Texas) on Jan. 3.

  Mesa posted a 28-5 record last season.
