Men finish 18th, women 24th at NJCAA Track and Field Nationals

  El Dorado, Kan. – The Mesa men finished 18th and the women 24th as the NJCAA Division I Track and Field Championships wrapped up Saturday.

  For the men, Marcus Naisant too fifth place in the javelin at 187-8 and Nikeaus Hale-Mercer placed sixth in the discus with a toss of 160-0.

  In addition, Tristen Stellmach placed 13th in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 9:58.08. Jacob Suber did not finish in the 800 and the 4x100 relay team was 18th in 42.03.

  For the MCC women, Quinn Johnson was tenth in the 1500 with a time of 5:02.72 and Darian Hollins was 16th in the long jump with a leap of 15-9.
