Track & Field Qualifies Three More at Aztec Invitational
TUCSON, AZ – A weekend at the Aztec Invitational produced three more NJCAA indoor qualifiers for the Mesa track and field teams.
Josh Hamberlin joined Jacob McBride as qualifiers in the weight throw with a loss of 52-10 ¼.
Also for the MCC men, Xavier Johnson joined the list as the T-Birds' second in the heptathlon while
winning the event with a score of 4349. D'Angelo Foster is also headed for the indoor nationals.
On the women's side, the distance medley relay of Allyson Girard, Teleya Bailey, Alexis Ramirez and Adeline Montgomery earned a spot with a top three national time of 12:49.36.
MCC takes the weekend off before participating in the NAU Tune-Up in Flagstaff, AZ, on Feb. 19 and then going to the Paradise Valley Invitational the next day.
