Mesa Softball Puts Finishing Touches on Fall Season with New Signees

This fall saw the T-Bird Softball Program compete against several club programs and Cypress Community College. Also, the Thunderbirds took on some of the country's best at the four year level, with the likes of Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University.
   
 
The fall wrapped up with the Ho-Hokam Invitational, where each fall one well deserving young lady is recognized for their outstanding achievements in the classroom and on the playing field. This year's recipient was sophomore Jaden Encinas. 
 
Thank you to all those who came out and supported the T-bird Softball program this fall!! The fall season concluded and according to Coach Grady Moorhead, the team is progressing in the right direction. 
 
"With a good nucleus of returners, a few transfers and a good fresh crop of in-comers, we have the potential to do some special things this spring." said Coach Moorhead. 
 
Returners include, Jaden Encinas, Alyssa Matus, Jaden McDaniel, Jadin Placencio, Denae Preuhs, Amber Rees, Brittany Walkingstick and Kaycee Williams. 
 
Transfers include, Ema Alvarado, Emme Maciel and Abril Nerey. 
 
Signees/Freshman/ Incomers include, Erica Baird, Taylor Brown, Zoe Corral, Gia Fimbres, Caitlin Garcia, Hailey Misner, Ashley Portugal, Aly Quintero and Absidee Sanchez.
