Mesa Softball Enters NJCAA Top 20 at #17, Win Both Games at South Mountain, 3-0, 8-0

Phoenix, AZ - It was fine day for the Mesa Thunderbirds softball team as they entered the first NJCAA rankings of the regular season at #17.  Then they went over the South Mountain CC and won two games, 3-0, 8-0.

Jadin Placencio and Samantha Quezada pitched for the T-Birds and both earned shutout victories over the Cougars.

Mesa will play at Chandler-Gilbert this coming Saturday beginning at noon.
