Ryann Holmes Earns NJCAA DII Player of the Week
Ryann Holmes earned ACCAC DII Player of the Week Tuesday and has now earned NJCAA DII Player of the Week honors for her performances against Scottsdale and Gateway last week.
Holmes was 12 for 16 with 3 home runs, 3 triples and 2 doubles. She had 14 RBIs, scored 11 times while helping the T-Birds to a 4-0 record last week.
For Holmes and the Mesa Thunderbirds softball team, this is their second NJCAA DII Player/Pitcher of the Week honors, the first coming from Gaby Lopez, earning Pitcher of the Week in week one.
