Phoenix, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds softball team was eliminated from the Region I-DII tournament Saturday morning, falling to South Mountain, 10-0.
The T-Birds beat the Cougars the day previous, 7-4, but then lost to Phoenix College later in the afternoon.
Mesa finishes the season with a 25-33 overall record, making the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
