Softball Enjoys the Sun Devil Experience

Tempe, AZ - Since it is the fall season, the Mesa Thunderbirds softball team can schedule games with teams from any level.  This past weekend, the T-Birds had the oppurtunity to scrimmage the Arizona State Sun Devils.

"It was a great experience for our players.  Their friends and family were able to enjoy the experience of division one competition," said head coach Grady Moorhead.

The T-Birds held their own through the first few innings, only allowing one run through four full innings.

"Our players saw what it takes to compete at that level and responded well," said Moorhead.
