Mesa signs two softball recruits from New Mexico

  MESA, AZ - Mesa has added two recruits for 2016 from New Mexico according to head coach Grady Moorhead.

  Valerie Macias, a shortstop and catcher from Las Cruces, N.M., and Macie Perrin, an outfielder from Alamagordo, N.M., will join the T-Birds next year.

  They will have a fellow state resident as a teammate. Natasha Mercado (Fr., Las Cruces, NM/Centennial H.S.) is playing with the T-Birds this season.

  "We are extremely excited to have these two young ladies here next year," said Moorhead. "They are both tremendous additions to our program."
