Fuhrmann All-American as Mesa men finish 14th at NJCAA DI cross country championships

  Albuquerque, N.M. – Sophomore Flynn Fuhrmann capped his outstanding Mesa cross country career by finishing 15th at the NJCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championship and earning All-American honors. He is the first MCC athlete to finish in the top 15 nationally in at least 25 years.

  Fuhrmann covered the 8k course, which is at an altitude of 5,300 feet, in 25:10, helping Mesa to a 14th place team finish.

  The T-Birds's second finisher was Andrew McCumber who was 56th in 26:23. There were 343 runners in the race.

  Jalen Chee was third for MCC in 75th place, clocked in 26:41.
