Men's tennis on roll in recent matches

  Mesa, AZ – The sixth-ranked Mesa men's tennis team has been on a roll recently.

  The T-Birds have defeated Arizona Christian, 5-4, as well as Pima, 9-0, in recent matches only losing to NCAA Division I Southern Utah, 7-0.

  Two players have won multiple matches in that stretch.

  Maxim Kirsch scored a 6-2, 6-2 victory against ACU at No. 1 singles and won at No 2 over Pima, 6-1, 6-1.

  Johan Prinsen was a winner twice. He took the No. 2 singles match against the ACU Firestorm, 6-4, 6-4 and was victorious over the Pima Aztecs, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 3.

  MCC travels to California for three matches this week. They will face College of the Desert Thursday, Irvine Valley Friday and Concordia Saturday.
