#12 men's tennis completes sweep of ACCAC play for fifth straight year

Glendale, AZ – With a 9-0 victory at Glendale Tuesday the 12th-ranked men's tennis team completed a sweep of ACCAC competition for the fifth consecutive year.

The T-Birds have gone 6-0 in conference play every year since 2014, having gone 32-0  in conference play since head coach Ali Bohrani joined the program.

"We could not have done it without the hard work of each player," said Borhani. "I am so proud to be the leader of this group. From day one they bought into the new system and the new culture. What I am the most proud of is not their play on the court or the fact that every student athlete has a 3.0 GPA or higher, I'm very proud of them being a family and supporting each other and all the other sports on campus."

"What makes me happy," Borhani added, "Is that each day they come to the office to say hi and see how I'm doing. They all have their parents to thank for raising such amazing young adults."

MCC will visit four-year Ottawa (AZ) next Tuesday and then prepares for the Region I championship April 23-24 at the Paseo Tennis Center in Glendale.
