Men's tennis wins, women fall at Pima

  Tucson, AZ – The #9 men's tennis team scored an ACCAC win at Pima Tuesday, however the #21 women's team fell by the same score.

  The men scored straight set victories in every match except No. 1 singles where 32nd ranked Jorge Sala fell, 2-6, 2-6.

  No. 11-ranked Gergo Rendek, coming back from an injury, took the No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0 and Lucas Severno prevailed at No. 5, 6-0, 6-1. In addition, Yohann Prinsen won at No. 4, 6-1, 6-1.

  Yuri Jacob and Erik Dallmann won at No. 3 doubles, 8-1.

  For the MCC women, Audra Spargo won at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-4.

  Both teams host four-year Ottawa Wednesday at 1:30 at the MCC Courts.
